Collected cord blood is delivered to our separation center (certified by Kanto-Shinetsu Regional Bureau of Health and Welfare based on Act on Securement of Regenerative Medicine) within 48 hours from the moment of birth, stem cells are separated out, and cryopreserved. |
| Examination fee |
To assure the safety and realistic usage of banked cord blood in the future, tests for infectious diseases are conducted on maternal blood at time of birth. These tests are based on the standards set by the American Association of Blood Banks (AABB). The tests are for AIDS type B hepatitis virus, type C hepatitis virus, AIDS virus, adult T cell leukemia (ATL), cytomegalovirus and syphilis. Likewise, we test the cord blood. Necessary information from cell separation and test results, etc., will be recorded in our customer database. And, our information system is managed in accordance with the privacy mark (JIS Q 15001 [personal information protection management systems – requirements set by Japan Industrial Standards regarding quality]) we are certified for and approved to display. |
| Storage fee |
This is the cell banking fee for the first year. You will be sent notification in advance with regard to renewal. |

- Signed contracts can be canceled prior to giving birth (there are no charges for cancelation).
- There are no payments in advance.
- Multiple pregnancies (twins, etc.) and customers who have previously used our cell banking service are eligible for discounts – so, please let us know when making an inquiry.

<Advanced Plan>About Cell Banking Renewal *Details for just the Advanced Plan.We will send you a reminder about contract renewal three months prior to your contract expiring. If you wish to renew the contract, please fill in and send us the renewed contract and make a bank transfer of the fee for renewing the contract to the designated bank account by the contract expiry date.
